  Hello,
  I’d like to transfer my google domain to wordpress after upgrading but I want to make sure my gmail with the domain won’t be affected and I will still be able to use it normally. Is this the case? I’m not the most tech-savvy person which leads me to next question– does the 24/5 support include some help setting up if I need it? I’m generally pretty good at googling things and finding answers but the more specific stuff I might need a hand with from time to time.

  You can transfer your domain to WordPress.com by following this guide: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/

  If you have an existing Google Workspace subscription, you’ll just need to ensure that you have added the necessary DNS records to your domain, as outlined here: https://wordpress.com/support/add-email/add-email-through-google-workspace/
