    I would like to get the Explorer subscription, but I don’t see the option to select a monthly installment, is it possible to have it on a monthly basis or is it fixed on a yearly subscription?

    Click on Upgrades/Plans then top middle there is a box saying “pay yearly”. Next to that is an arrow you can toggle to get monthly. I don’t advise paying monthly for a plan here though. The months come round quickly and soon a year has passed and you will have paid much more than you could have done. If you can’t afford to pay yearly, perhaps manage with a free site until you have enough funds to pay for an annual plan.
