upgrading

  I opened a wordpress free site some time ago and since then got involved with weebly to develop a website for another business, rasafoundation.org, because i found wordpress too difficult at the time to do myself. now i want to upgrade wordpress so that i can move rasafoundation.org here and also land a new website, rainbowgypsies.com that i had designed by goigi (they used wordpress to develop it). They are requesting ‘Kindly provide us the domain and the hosting details to make it live. We need to have the login access of the account from where you have purchased the domain and the hosting’.
  please help me to upgrade and then send me instructions that i can forward to them.

  Hi rainbowgypsies,

  If I understand you correctly, you want to use your domain rasafoundation.org purchased from a 3rd party with your WordPress.com.

  If that’s the case then you need to purchase ‘Domain Mapping’ upgrade. You read more details about domain mapping on this support page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

  In addition, you can also provide your 3rd party provider with this support page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/#2-ask-your-domain-provider-to-update-your-dns-settings . That should answer their question and they don’t need to access your WordPress.com account.
