  I’m thinking about upgrading from the free version however I’m not sure what the best one to upgrade to is. I want my website to be found fairly easily without having to type in the exact address and I want to be able to charge a subscription to use features on my site such as read certain comics I create. Are those possible things and if so what plan do I choose.

  The only way to go to a website is by typing in the exact address. That is how websites work. Over time search engines like Google will index your site and people will also be able to find the exact address by searching for words related to your site in Google. But they will always need to type the exact address into their browsers, or click on the address where it’s linked on another website.

  You don’t need an upgrade to have your site indexed by search engines. That will happen automatically once you start adding content to your site.

  This is not possible on WordPress.com. No plan here will give you that ability. To do that you’ll need a self-hosted WordPress.org site. Then you can either use a plugin to hide your content behind a paywall, or you can add an ecommerce plugin like WooCommerce to sell your comics online.
