Upgrading a site

    Hi! I quick question. If I upgrade my exsisitng wordpress.com site to a customised .com site are readers redirected automatically to a new site and what happens to the old address? Could I go back to it in the future if I wished?

    Hi there,

    All traffic to your free WordPress.com address will be automatically redirected yes.

    The free address will not go away, and should you ever cancel the domain your site goes back to using the free address.
