Upgrading account

  Hi there, before I start building my site I want to check on two things:

  1) If I upgrade my free account to a business account, will the site I’m working on be affected in any way? Want to make sure I won’t lose any information in the handoff.
  2) Can my site be easily imported into another WordPress account? I’ve ready this article (https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/) but it seemed to reference blogs, specifically. Will I be able to completely transfer my site to another account with no handoff issues on anything (including custom CSS, etc.)?

  Once upgraded from the free website nothing will change on your website other then the ads will be removed and you will now have access to the features specific to that plan.

  The link you have provided is accurate to your website (often blog and website is used interchangeably). If you read and follow the directions outlined in the documentation there should be no handoff issues in the transfer of the site.
