upgrading account to 'personal' and exsting weblink

  hi there, if i upgrade to a ‘personal’ $3/month account from a free plan, and change my web address to mountainmutton.com (from mountainmutton.wordpress.com) am i right in thinking that any links to the mountainmutton.wordress site on twitter, instagram etc will be void and no longer link to the site?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Great news! When you add a custom domain, your links automatically redirect to the WordPress.com address.

  So, to answer this:
