Upgrading account without domain?

  Hey all,

  Is it possible to upgrade your account but not use the domain? IE keep the username.wordpress.com URL? Or does the domain replace it by default?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello ares3blog,
  Yes it is possible to not register a domain and keep using your .wordpress.com sub-domain while purchasing an upgrade. But you will be charged the full amount for the upgrade even if you do not register a domain.

  When asked to register a new domain, you can just go for the free sub-domain option instead of selecting a custom domain and then, proceed to the payment screen.

  NOTE: The custom domain is a free credit that is available for all paid plans. You can register a domain later if you change your mind in future.
