Upgrading an existing blog to get rid of adds

  I’m upgrading, but it’s asking me to change my url and I DON’T WANT TO. How do I avoid this I already have a free one that I want to keep, but I see no choice to do that in the questions it asks you during the process. Help!

  Are you logged in to the site you wish to upgrade? Are you clicking “My Site” and then “Plan” below it on the left?

  Thanks I figured it out, I had to go into the account itself, not just click on the upgrade link from the “ad” on the blog page.
