Upgrading Blog to Site?

  I’d like to upgrade my blog, https://anopusperdiem.wordpress.com/, so that I can update the URL to http://www.anopusperdiem.com and so I can import my own WordPress theme.

  I had initially followed WordPress directions to purchase the domain, but realized I can’t port my followers/comments/likes over, and am having immense difficulty just trying to transfer my posts/media.

  Would purchasing a blog upgrade solve this problem? Or is there any simpler way I could go about making this happen?

  Sorry, please disregard that last line. The site is the first indicated, anopusperdiem.wordpress.com.
