Upgrading domains and hosting

  Hello,
  I’ve had two wordpress blogs for a few months. I’d now like to upgrade one a bit so that I have a domain name and hosting where I can have some advertising. What is the best way to do this?

  I’ve read that I will still be able to use the WordPress interface to build a site with other hosts. How does this work? Is WordPress like a program such as Dreamweaver or Frontpage in this instance where pages can be built offline? I’ve read about it online but I can’t quite figure out the explanations – are there any very simple guides as to how this works?

  I want the blogs to look and feel more like websites that are regularly updated with new contet. Is WordPress the best programme to use for this?

  I believe wordpress.org software is the best software available for creating a CMS (content management system) like you are aiming to have. This is because you are aiming to have a blog that’s emulating a website. However, one does require skill sets to be able to accomplish what you want on their own, or by hiring a web designer because no one is going to take on such a job free of charge.
