upgrading from a wordpress.com free blog

  when upgrading from the free wordpress blog (domain.wordpress.com), will i still be able to use my domain and will all my content be transfered to the new site (domain.com), no hustles?????

  From what I understand you are asking about mapping your free WordPress blog to a different address. If that is correct, you need to complete the instructions here for domain mapping.
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
  You need to change the name servers at the place where your registered your domain name.

  If however, you mean buying a domain name from WordPress.com then you need to complete the instructions here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/register-domain/

  Note: Email requires a different set of instructions
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/

  thanks, i got the answer. i was referring to changing from the free wordpress domain to registering your domain still hosted by wordpress
