Upgrading from blog to personal web site

I looked at the upgrade which is £30.00 per year. How many pages do I get to put photos of my music and art and information regarding release of my music. Do I get a format or on line form to complete once I have paid or is my current blog the start of my web site and then when I have paid I can have a domain name and then add pages. Many Thanks Louie

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi Louie –

With the Personal Plan upgrade you get 6GB of storage. This storage is used for images, files, videos but not text. Your text on the posts and pages does not count towards this. There is no page “limit”.

You can use the upgraded plan on the current site you’ve built or you can assign it to a new one. That’s up to you. You can definitely keep both sites under the same account.

Let me know if I can answer any other questions.

How do I turn my current blog to a standard web site i look at the upgrade plans still a bit confusing.

At the moment I have two pages on my blog can I add more pages e.g. page 3, page 4 etc.

    Thanks

    Louie

  • Hi Louie – Yes you can add more pages. The main difference between a blog and a website is how it is structured. A blog is just a type of website.

Blogs are typically updated with posts on a regular basis by a single author. Websites tend to be constructed with pages of static information that doesn’t need much updating.

Our themes can be customized to do either a blog or a website.
