Upgrading from example.wordpress.com to example.com, questions…

    If i pass from having wordpress.com to just .com and pay 18 a year will all my links on social media be redirected to that adress or will people who click on them just end up on a 404 error page?
    Also, do the SEO juices of my wordpress.com get passed onto my .com site?
    Is there someone who already did this that can help me out?

    Hi David,

    If you purchase the domain mapping upgrade, all of your existing links will continue to work as they do now–there will be no problems with 404 error pages.

    As for SEO–that’s a bit more complicated.
