Upgrading from free site to paid site – domains

    Hi there,
    I am wanting to create a new website using WordPress but can only choose the free version at the moment due to finances. I’m hoping to upgrade to one of the paid versions in the near future, as I would prefer to have a personalised domain rather than a sub-domain. My question is, if I set up my site using the free version, can I upgrade to a paid for (and therefore personalised domain) version in the future?

    Hi @jennielee27,

    You may upgrade your account at any time to another plan, go ahead and get started. Once you upgrade your plan it may take a little while for it to update.
