Upgrading from one WordPress plan to another

  Can I start with a paid hosting plan such as ‘Personal’ – to develop my site content – and then upgrade to another plan such as ‘ECommerce’ later using the same domain ?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  If I sign up for a ‘Personal’ plan with WordPress.com – do I get automatic access to a website builder when I log in. Also will my website be automatically linked to my domain ?

  Hi there, yes, that is entirely possible. If you register a custom domain, like mydomain.com, your custom domain name will remain the same throughout regardless of which upgrade plan you choose.
