Upgrading has left me with an error message

  I have updated to the latest version of WordPress through my webhosting service and am now left with a blank page and this error message. Any solutions? I’m at a loss.

  Fatal error: Call to undefined function: add_filter() in /mnt/w1007/d45/s04/b012cd1c/www/blog/wp-includes/default-filters.php on line 20
