  Hi! I was wondering how to determine which plan is the best for my site. I am hoping to start a podcast and use my website to create the RSS feed while potentially linking to social media and possibly posting articles and blogs. Could someone please help me?

  You can post audio. It does require an upgrade. You can upload the files to your site if you have the Personal, Premium or Business plan. See here https://en.support.wordpress.com/audio/
