upgrading my blog

    hi i want to upgrade my blog, but im new to this so im thinking of going to premium. does this mean i will loose the ‘.wordpress.com’ part of my address?also if i sign up now (it says free for a 12 months does that mean i wont have to pay anything for a year?or do i still need to pay the $96 and next year is free?

    With a paid plan you get the ability to change your .wordpress.com address to a custom domain. It is that custom domain that is included free for the first year. You still need to pay for that plan in the first place.
