Upgrading OR Hosting Service from WP.com
-
Hello,
Im really happy to use wordpress.com for my weblog. But I like to get some webspaces for file storage and I also like to customize the theme and soon..
Of course, I know that it’s possible if I use paid-hosting. But I still like to use my website url “michaelsync.wordpress.com”.
so, Im looking for any option that I can upgrade my free blog to paid blog with full features..Thanks…

I guess you have’t been visiting the forum frequently over the past four months that you have been a member here.
(1) The only upgrade anyone can currently get is paying $15 for sandbox and customizing the css of one of the themes you see under presentation in your dashboard.
(2) There are no paid accounts for storage purposes at this time.
(3) All wordpress.com blog have the same features with a few designer dependent differences.
(4) If you want additional features which you refer to as “full features” then you can download a copy of a wordpress theme free of charge to your own server or go to webhosting over here http://wordpress.org/hosting/
(5) If you are just giving feedback on future paid features you would like to see added to wordpress.com blogs then you’re in the wrong place. This forum is for technical blogging support and Matt is inviting that kind of feedback over here. http://sc.wordpress.com/blog/2006/08/04/paid-upgrade-ideas/
I hope that clears things up for you. Happy blogging. :) -

Is it possible to use “michaelsync.wordpress.com” if I host in paid-server?

no its not possible to use .wordpress.com as your domain name, but you can always use a free webhosting that support PHP and MySQL to test your wordpress installation (like importing your post from your wordpress account, etc). Before using a real webhosting service.
But if you need extra storage why not sign up into a public file sharing service ? or you can always use turboupload, rapidshare, etc to upload your files (don’t forget to download it once in a while if you’re using a free account or your files get deleted from their server)
as for photo or any other images … i always use photobucket to store all my images there and linking it from there =P
