  IF I upgrade from the FREE plan to the 48$ plan can I remove my Credit Card information AFTER the money is taken out of my bank and just re-enter my information the next year?

  Hi there!

  Yes, you can remove your card details after you have made the payment.

  To do so, visit manage purchases page in account section:
  https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing

  Scroll down to the Credit Cards section to remove your card.
