Upgrading plan and migrating domain.

    Hi! I want to upgrade to a starter plan and migrate my own domain to the WordPress site I’m building. Everything in my old lousy site can be trashed except for the blog page, which is actually an associated WordPress page, which I’d like to keep. Can I get help doing this? Or is there absolutely no technical support, even for new customers, unless I go to a pro plan?

    Hi there,

    So you’re creating a new site, in place of http://rachelzakuta.wordpress.com/? Or do you have content on another site which you want to move to http://rachelzakuta.wordpress.com/? If the latter, can you share the URL of that site? I don’t see any other sites in the account you used to post here.

    If you just want http://rachelzakuta.wordpress.com/ to appear at your custom domain, you don’t need to move/migrate anything at all – in that case the domain just gets applied to your existing site, without changing anything about the site itself.

    I see you’ve already bought the plan and a domain. The only thing that’s left to do is set the domain as your primary address, so it’s the one visitors will see in their browsers. You can do that from Upgrades ->Domains in the dashboard.
