  Upgrading plan dont want blog name as domain name, would like to choose different one that is available

  That can be possible if you don’t want your custom domain as your free blog name.
  You can try entering the different name in the domain search if it is available you can easily get that register. Please refer to the link below :

  Thanks, I already know the name I want is available like I stated – When upgrading plan I do not have option to change to the domain name I want. I can buy a domain then use but I am not taking advantage of the one included in price of plan. Trying to avoid paying for name then additionally paying for plan that include registering a domain.

  What is the domain you want, and what site are you trying to upgrade?

  To make use of the free domain included in a plan, you must buy the plan first, at My Site ->Plans. Then you can use the free credit included in the plan to register your domain.
