Upgrading plan from free to Premium

  I wish to upgrade my WordPress plan from free to premium and also want to upgrade to a custom domain name. How do I do I upgrade domain and there an extra charge for this?

  Hi there! If you start at https://wordpress.com/plans you’ll be prompted about adding a custom domain.

  If you choose a year-long plan, you’ll get a credit for the first year of a domain, or for a transfer. Then you’ll pay for the domain each year after that. Most .com, .net, and .org domains are $18/year including privacy. You can see full domain pricing here.
