upgrading plans

  Hi. i would like to upgrade but im being charged full price of the new plan. is this correct? i currently have a premium plan but i wish to switch up to business. i’ve already paid for seven pounds sterling times twelve months but now i am being asked for just less than fourteen quid times twelve to upgrade. is this right? should i not be charged the difference between what i have paid and what the new cost is rather than be charged the entirety of the new cost….? please could wordpress advise? thankyou

  You can upgrade at any time. If and when you upgrade from Personal to Premium or from Premium to Business you pay the difference between the two plans. If you have a site with a custom domain and then upgrade to a plan, you’ll receive an automatic discount for the domain, but you will need to buy the plan using the same username account that already owns the domain.

  Hi @shoutoutlondon, when you upgrade an existing plan, you’ll get a discount. That’s reflected in the £13.92/month upgrade you’re seeing. It’s normally £20.83.
