Upgrading Questions

Next month I will be upgrading to the WordPress Value Bundle that costs $99. The site I will be upgrading is http://www.burstingplethoraofrainbowcolors.wordpress.com. One of the reasons why I’m upgrading is because I want the regular .com name. What I want to know is: what exactly do I have to do when I upgrade to go from http://www.burstingplethoraofrainbowcolors.wordpress.com to http://www.burstingplethoraofrainbowcolors.com? Is it as simple as just paying the money and clicking a button? I posted this in the forum last week but did not get a definitive answer. Also, will I be able to still use the theme I am using now after I upgrade? And lastly, does anybody know of any FAQ’s related to upgrading. Thank you.

I feel so stupid. I just do not understand all of this stuff. Sorry. I just want to know exactly what I have to do when I upgrade in order to use the same name burstingplethoraofrainbowcolors, but just as a .com.
