upgrading site help

    Hello,
    I currently have a free site with WP.
    I want to upgrade my site to a paid site, add HostGater hosting, WooCommerce & CardPaySolutions.
    I’m confused whether to upgrade my site & get my domain from WP OR go thru HG & get my domain thru them.
    I’ve watched the tutorial, however it doesn’t explain how to go about this if you already have the free plan. I only see how to start on WP & then obtain hosting, commerce, etc.
    Can someone please give me a list of who to go thru 1st since I already have a free account?

    A free site here at WordPress.com is hosted here too. If you wish to create a site over at Hostgator then you need to reach out to them to find out how to build a site there using the wordpress software.
    If you wish to use Woocommerce here at WordPress.com then you’ll need to upgrade your free site to a Business plan. Hostgator will not be involved at all then.
