Upgrading to a business account

    Hello, I am working with Jordan the owner of our page and we would like to upgrade to a business account. When I first was added as an admin I saw several plans available and I have the Business Plan in my cart, but since I am not the ‘owner’ I don’t know if I am able to do the upgrade. When Jordan logs in as the owner he sees something different. Please help.

    Hi there,

    We no longer offer the Business Plan on WordPress.com, but it has been replaced by the Pro plan, which is what you currently own. The Pro plan includes all the same features as Business, but at almost half the cost.

    It looks like you’ve also been able to connect with live chat support since posting here, but let me know if you still have any questions about this.

    Any admin on a site can buy an upgrade for the site. You’re not the owner of camblycontent.wordpress.com, but you are the owner of the Pro plan and domain connection upgrade on the site.

    Both you and the site owner should have access to the Premium Support included in the plan. You can access that via the form at https://wordpress.com/help/contact.

    Thank you! I just wanted to confirm that the features were the same or similar to the Business Plan since that is what our CTO wanted.
