upgrading to a .com

Just wondering what the benefit of upgrading to a doc com site would be? Those of you that have… do you kind of start over? Still keep your followers? I guess I’m just trying to decide what makes the most sense if I want to expand. Is upgrading a good idea?

It seems like you’ve already made up your mind.
You do not need to start over, since the custom domain is associated with your WordPress.com site, ladybugsjumpingbeans.wordpress.com, where your content is hosted.
Adding custom domains to your site does not affect your follower count and they will still receive notifications of your new posts.
