Upgrading to a custom domain and keeping followers

    I would like to upgrade from a .wordpress.com url to a .com domain but I don’t want to lose the followers I already have, is this possible and how should I do it?

    Just get the domain name and use domain mapping on your current blog – the followers will stay and all the old links will still work – sort of like magic – but all will be good – you will just add another address on top of the existing URL and visitors will see the new URL when they visit
