Upgrading to a paid plan
-
I have been using a free site. I am more than happy with it but need more media memory as I am close to the limit. It suggests I upgrade, which I’m happy to do, but I am worried about losing everything that is already on the site and that I might not be able to have the same look.
I have read about backing everything up but it is all quite mind blowing.
Basically I just want to know if I can just keep everything the same if I upgrade just to get more memory? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks for that. One further question. As purchased a domain five months ago can that be kept and updated to start at the same time as the upgrade?

Let’s cut to the chase here. I checked WHOIS and you purchased the domain through wordpress.com so type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help with getting a billing adjustment. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Then please subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond. Yes I did purchase the domain through wordpress.com and I would like to keep it but have it for 12 months when I upgrade.

Hi there,
You can upgrade your site on your Plans page, and your domain will be automatically linked to that plan. That way, you won’t have to renew anything until the following year, when you can renew the plan and domain together again. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
