Upgrading to a paid site

Hi everyone.
I’m helping a friend put together a website for her business and got to the point that I needed to put down a credit card, so we could have a custom domain. Our wires got crossed and her husband ended up creating his own account and signing up for a premium plan with his credit card. So now I either need to get his plan transferred to her account or I need to move her site content over to his account, so I can point the domain name to it.
Which do you think is easier? He just signed up within the past day or so.

More specifically to answer your question:
Transferring a blog with a domain upgrade
If you want to transfer a blog and you also own a custom domain on the same blog, you will first need to transfer the domain to the blog’s new owner before you’ll be able to transfer ownership of the blog itself. You can find the instructions to do that here.
If you forget to transfer the domain first, don’t worry. All that will happen is that the transfer won’t be instant, but instead will create a support ticket and one of our Happiness Engineers will be in touch to help you complete the process.
After transferring the domain, please remind the new owner to update their domain contact information.

Could you please provide some specifics in terms of the sites, usernames and domain involved?
I take it the husband created his own site when he created the account and bought Premium, correct? If so, we’ll both need to move the upgrades between sites and possibly between users, and as you can see via @eallas’s comment above, this gets complicated the moment a domain is involved.
So if you can outline the exact details of the current setup for me I’ll be able to give you the best advice :)
