Upgrading to Business account

  I am trying to find if I upgrade from the free plan to the business plan. Does the plan cover my account and all websites that I make or a plan needs to be purchased for each website made?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  All WordPress.com Business plans must be applied individually to each website. It does not apply to the whole account and all the websites associated with it.

  So what If I add another domain under the same site? I am trying to find my best course of action. I already have a site but I can not just move it to wordpress at this time. Will I have to wait till I can move the domain here to ever start working on that or how should I go about this?

  Hi –

  If your secondary domain is redirecting to the primary domain, then you would not need a business plan on that secondary domain as well. This means that both domains display the same site. Does that help?

  -Your primary domain + business plan would be $300/year

  -The secondary domain would only be the domain mapping or registration renewal each year. Normally that’s $18-$35 year depending on the domain extension (.com vs .blog for example).
