Upgrading to custom domain

  Hi,

  If I upgrade to a custom domain will I have to change all the URL’s of pages and internal links to reflect that change?

  All the page url’s and internal links contain the current domain name with the .worpress extension. What happens when I upgrade and that goes?

  You won’t have to do anything, the links all convert automagically. I’m sure there is a support document that explains the process more fully, but I haven’t been able to find it. If Time Thief sees this post, I’m sure she will have the link though ;)

  Domain mapping gives you a new address for your blog, but all the old addresses still work and if you set the config setting correctly the custom domain name will display for your visitors

  Great, Thanks guys. I tried looking for an answer but none was evident, and I did expect some sort of automagic but wanted to be sure before a make a blunder I can’t come back from.
