UPGRADING TO PERSONAL PLAN

  Dear team,

  Presently, I have created a free blog, but I wish to have my own domain name and upgrade to the Personal plan. Kindly let me know if I can choose the ads(monetize my blog) that would be shown on my blog under the Personal plan.

  Who is eligible for WordAds?

  Users upgrading to the WordPress.com Premium or Business plans have automatic access to the WordAds program and can set up advertising on their sites immediately.
  WordPress.com bloggers, who are using a Free or Personal Plan, have moderate to high traffic and appropriate content also have the option to apply to the WordAds program.
  Only sites with a custom or mapped domain can apply.

  Check out the ‘Monetize Your Site FAQ’ for more information on the eligibility of Personal plan in the WordAds monetization. https://en.support.wordpress.com/monetize-your-site/

  On the WordAds page they say:

  “While you have some control over the display of your ads via My Sites > WordAds > Settings, picking certain advertisers is not currently an option. ”
