Upgrading to Premium

  I want to upgrade to Premium but only for one year. The Upgrade option States $99 per year, does this mean that once I have upgraded I have to pay $99 each year to keep my blog site, even if I don’t need any more space ?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  – Space Upgrade
  – No Ads
  – Custom Design
  – VideoPress

  If you don’t want the WordPress.com Premium Plan to renew every year, simply make sure that Auto Renew is disabled after you purchase it, and it will expire after one year.

  Thank you for your response. I write a travel blog and include Photographs. In the two years I have been publishing I have used 2Mb of the 3Mb allowance. I want to keep my blog going but just need more space. Based on my previous usage, the additional 10Mb of space that I would get under the ‘Premium’ plan, would last me for a considerable period of time. Is their a way of just keeping my blog as at present but adding a bit more space ?

  Once again, thank you for your response, however, it still doesn’t answer my question, perhaps I am not asking it very well. Let me try and put it another way…..

  I pay for a 10Mb upgrade at $20 but do not want to automatically upgrade every year so tick the ‘Do not auto renew’. It is extremely unlikely that I will use all of the additional space in 12 months and intend to just keep my blog going with the additional space purchased for maybe another 2-3 years, or longer. Will I be able to do this ?

  You will have additional space available to you as long as you have the Upgrade associated with your site. If you decide to not renew, the Upgrade will be removed from your site and you will no longer have the additional space.

  Keep in mind, even if the Upgrade is removed, none of your previously uploaded content will be affected.
