Upgrading to premium

  I just registered for the free plan for my first blog. After I learn how to use it, I want to upgrade to premium to try to monetize. Will I be able to upgrade and keep my same domain name?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes, you can upgrade at any time and your domain name will stay the same.

  In order to join WordAds, you will need to register a new domain for your site or map a domain you already own. The Premium plan includes one domain credit, so the cost will be included in the plan.

  Sites using their free WordPress.com address (librarylessonsblog.wordpress.com) aren’t eligible to join.

  Your free WordPress.com address will still exist but visitors to your site will see the custom domain in their browser’s address bar instead.
