Upgrading to Premium and mapping an existing domain

  I am considering upgrading to premium, and I believe that part of that is getting a custom domain. Before I discovered WordPress, I purchased two domains. If I were to upgrade to premium, could I use one of those as part of the upgrade? Or would I need to pay the extra 13 euroes to map it?

  Do you mean that you have these domains registered elsewhere?

  If so, yes. With WordPress.com Premium you can either choose to map an existing domain or register a new one.

  Thanks for the reply. Yes the domains are hosted elsewhere, on names.co.uk.

  Yes, domain mapping for one of those domains will be included with your WordPress.com Premium purchase.

  Thanks. WordPress uses an SSL certificate, if I map my domains to WordPress will they still be SSL, or do I need to purchase the certificate?

  Custom domains on WordPress.com now use https.
