Upgrading to WordPress Paid Account

  Hi,

  I currently have a free WordPress blog. I have also paid for a custom domain through WordPress for this blog. I pay an annual fee every year for use of this domain.

  Im considering upgrading my account to a “Personal” paid account. The main reason for this is to get rid of the ads on my blog.

  However, as this upgrade would include a custom domain, I don’t want to be paying two separate fees, one for my upgrade and another for my domain.

  What is the procedure. I just want to keep the blog the same, upgrade and keep my domain, and obviously pay one annual fee. Is this possible?

  Perhaps if you purchase a Personal plan WordPress.com will refund the cost of the domain that you have already paid. I have added a modlook tag to ask if a member of staff could reply to you.

  Thanks, I upgraded my plan and the price of my custom domain was discounted.
