Upgrading to wordpress.org

  Hi,

  I have a wordpress.com account and want to transfer my blog into wordpress.org. I have already signed up for “just host” for hosting. I am struggling as I try to install .org and get going though. Please help!

  You need to be over at wordpress.ORG for installation issues and questions regarding their software. Few here have any knowledge of it.

  Most hosts that support wordpress have a “one click” install option through something like Fantastico. It is usually in the “software and services” section in your account cPanel (if they are using cPanel) and it asks a couple simple questions and then will install wordpress for you in about 5 seconds.

  If you are going to do it yourself, read through the “getting started” section here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page and then if you still have questions, go to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ .

  You will have to get help over at WordPress.ORG, not here. We don’t have instructions on installing WP, because we don’t install WP here.
