Upgrading & URL

    I am interested in upgrading from a free WordPress site with a name.wordpress.com URL to a paid WordPress site with a name.com URL. My concern is that I already have a bunch of brochures and business cards circulating with the name.wordpress.com URL on them. If I upgrade and someone enters that old URL, will they be automatically redirected to the name.com URL?

    Yes all the people who search for your old URL will be directed to the new one. Also here is the information about Domains further
