Upgrading With a Domain I Already Own

  I am trying to upgrade my plan to a premium plan with a domain name that I already own. I have selected the Map It option and the premium plan and gone through all of the payment process and when I submit it I get a screen that has an error code that says the process can’t be completed because the domain name is already in use. What am I doing wrong? The domain was purchased through Go Daddy and is not used for anything at this time.

  Howdy –

  Can you try clearing the browser cache and then sign back in to WordPress.com to add the plan and mapping.

  You should be able to add the plan from wordpress.com/pricing/ too.
