upload a custom theme

  Looking at the ‘Appearance’ tab, based on what I can see of posts/instructions, there should be beside the Search box at top, a button to ‘Add New’

  This button is missing. I have no way to upload or add a new theme.

  Please help! I am totally new to WP!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can add Themes on a self-hosted site but you can only choose from the available Themes on the Themes page for a WordPress.COM site.

  Thanks! I accidentally stumbled upon that article right before I saw your reply! Makes soooooo much more sense now. I didn’t even realize there were .COM/.ORG variations until now! Thanks again!
