Upload a new theme

Hi, I wish to upload a theme i purchase in Envato. Do i have to upgrade my account?

Hi unilasermedica,
For all WordPress.com sites, it’s not possible to buy and install WordPress themes published by companies other than Automattic. In other words, once you’ve set up your WordPress.com site, you can only choose between the themes that’s listed on this page:
https://primitivoco.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php
This is done to make things simpler for people that don’t want to get all technical about it. That being said, you have over 380 themes to choose from, and you can also upgrade your account to make custom edits to the CSS. Read more about it here:

However, if you still want to use the theme you purchased from Envato, this is still possible, as long as you move your site from a WordPress.com site to a self hosted WordPress.org site. If you don’t know the difference, check out this link:
