  Find the menu that will allow me to do this. I’m sure it’s something painfully obvious, but so far I’ve missed it…

  Hi there,

  All available plugins on WordPress.com are already built in. You aren’t able to install plugins here.

  On WordPress.org, which is self hosted, you do have that capability.
