Sorry for the delay in replying~ I am caregiving for a sick person today.
I wanted to use a plugin that lets me put the posts in reverse order from what is the way WP.com does. I want to have my posts be in order from oldest to newest. I am new at WP blogging. I want my Welcome to always be what is read first.
Does that make sense? -
The default setting is for newest post at the top and oldest at the bottom. There are ways of reversing things (for instance if you were writing a book and wanted each chapter below the previous one) but it is reasonably complicated/time consuming.

If you just want your Welcome post (and perhaps one or two others) to stay at the top then the easiest thing to do is to set them as “sticky” posts. Then no matter how many posts you write in the future those will always show first.

Ok, I will refresh my knowledge of the sticky posts.. I actually have my Welcome as Sticky but it is still not at the top… I will take another look when I can!
Thank you…
-
Yes you have two other featured/sticky posts along with the welcome post. I’m only guessing here but perhaps if you copy/paste the welcome post and add it again as featured/sticky and delete the first one it might move it to the top as then it will be the most recent featured/sticky?
-
What I just did was remove the “sticky” on the other 2 posts using Quick Edit and that moved the Welcome Post to the top!
I assume from this that I can only have 1 sticky post? Or 1 in each category?
