Upload a theme

    Hi I’m trying to upload a theme to mp WP website by going to Appearance / Themes – there is no option to upload even tho in many tutorials they refer to an option to upload the zipped theme using a ‘upload theme ‘ button or ‘New theme’ button. i don’t have either. is it because i’m using the free version of WordPress?

    even tho in many tutorials they refer to an option to upload the zipped theme using a ‘upload theme ‘ button or ‘New theme’ button. i don’t have either.

    These tutorials are for WordPress.org installs.
