Upload Black and white imagine to gravatar. Images goes dark

  Hey,

  Can anyone help! I’ve tried to upload an imagine to gravatar

  

  Here is the link. (I also tried uploading it directly). and it turns out really dark.

  I have searched around and can’t find an answer so any heads up on how to make sure the picture looks normal would be great!

  Here’s a screenshot from within my image editing program.

  The left side image is what it looks like when loaded into the editing program and the two on the right are how the image is displayed in firefox and chrome. It seems that the browser renders it darker or at least differently. And of course the Catch 22 is that it may not look entirely correct because you are viewing it within a browser. :)

  Searching on the internet, it looks like this is a known problem with PNGs.

  The only suggestion I can make is to try uploading the image as a JPG instead.
