Upload folder of images

  I searched the forums and cannot find an answer!
  Is there a quick way to add a folder of images to my blog? Or do I have to add each one seperately with a title and caption for each??

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Please provide a link to your blog when asking questions in the forums because typically we need to see the blog in order to help. Is this the blog you are talking about http://rlfaust.wordpress.com/ ?

  If so, at wordpress.COM we do not have FTP access and even if we did, the caption and title are not part of the image file so they will always have to be added manually, file by file.

  The flash uploader allows multiple files to be uploaded at one time, but my suggestion is to limit it to say 5 at a time. When trying to upload more than that, there seems to sometimes be timeout issues and some of the images do not get uploaded.

  Yes, that is the blog I am talking about. So how do I upload multiple images. I selected several images in the Flash uploader, there are all in my media library, however I don’t see a button or anything that say upload all images.
  I’m assuming I have to check the ones in the media library I want to upload, but I don’t see any upload button?

  If the images are in the media library they are already uploaded to your blog.

  If you go to media library and click “add new” a window will open. Click the “select files” button and it will present a list of flles/folders on your computer. Navigate to the folder that contains the images. You can use shift-click to select a range of images (click on the first image file name to highlight it then go down several and shift-click to select a range) then click the “open” button and it will upload the images you selected.

  To add captions and titles after the images have been uploaded, you can either do that as you insert them into the posts or pages, or you can do it ahead of time by going to media > edit, click the “show link for each image and then in the window that opens, add your title and caption and then click the “save changes” button. Then when you insert the images into posts or pages, those will already be included.
