‘Upload image’ button isnt working for me

  ‘Upload image’ button isnt working for me. Or ‘Upload video’. When I click on them, I get a small window with moving diagonal bars. I guess this means that soemthing’s happening in the background. But I wait and wait.. and nothing happens. I dont get the regular window to select which file to upload.

  I tried uploading an image directly to the media library and that worked for me. But then, how do I include this image (uploaded in the media lib) into my post?

  When that little window you mention appears, it means the page is loading. If nothing happens the connection likely is slow, try reloading/refreshing the page and try again.

  As for your question about including uploaded images in your post, it depends on the post style/editor you’re using:
  Visual: Above the text box there is a square above the formatting buttons (next to where it says “Upload/Insert”). Click on it then when another menu pops up, click on the tab that says “Media Library”. Find the image you want to add and click “Show” to the right of it. Once you’re all set click “Insert Into Post” at the bottom.
  HTML: Click the “img” button then enter (preferably copy & paste) the URL of the image you want to use then click “OK”. You can skip through the second box. The HTML code for the image will then appear. After I do this I like to switch to Visual to make sure the image displays properly and do any necessary formatting.

  i’ve tried reloading a few times. Doesnt work. I dont think its a problem with the connection since I can see videos etc properly on this connection with no issues.

  No menu pops up when I click on the “Upload/Insert” button in Visual mode.

  Same for when I’m in HTML mode – no menu pops up when I click onthe image button.

  However, if I go the to Media Library, i can upload files there!!
  Really weird.
